Cucumber Creature - $21 Million

Browsing through eBay, I found this misshaped cucumber for sale. The shape of the cucumber itself isn't too peculiar, it's the pricing of the item that puzzles me. I get that it's a joke, but why not sell it at a more affordable price and take the chances of making some money on it. I could see someone maybe paying $50, not $21 million. But who knows. If someone did buy it for $21 million, the seller would be one lucky guy!

NMCA Muscle Car Nationals at Milan Dragway

Dan and I are planning to attend Milan Dragway's 5th annual NMCA Muscle Car Nationals either Saturday or Sunday. Last year was my first time going and I'm excited to go again this year. It's a lot of fun, so if you're in the area and looking for some entertainment this weekend come on out. You can get free spectator's ticket here (print as many as you need), and if you want a pit pass it's only $10. The pit area has a lot more action and a neat car show. The gates open at noon, so grab an early lunch and get out here!

Selling My Clothes

Trying to get rid of some clothes and get some extra cash. I put up an ad for my area on Craigslist, but I will ship the shirts anywhere, buyer pays shipping.

The shirts I'm selling are:

Brown Arizona ribbed t-shirt from JCPenny, medium. $5

Blue Arizona ribbed t-shirt from JCPenny, medium. $5

Brown plaid Girl Krazy t-shirt from either JCPenny or Kohl's, large. $5

Blue plaid Mossimo t-shirt from Target, large. $5

All shirts are from the Juniors department and are in great condition, I just don't wear them anymore. Shirts come from a nonsmoking home. I'll accept payments via PayPal or personal check.

Abortion Protest on Woodward

Dan and I went out earlier this evening to cruise down Woodward for the Dream Cruise. There were a lot of cool cars, lots of people, and nice weather after the storm had passed. You can imagine my disgust and shock when as we're driving down the road, I look out my window and see two men standing at the corner protesting abortion with huge signs with photos of aborted babies. I'm for freedom of speech and everything, but seriously... Protesting abortion at a family event? Isn't that a little extreme? There are tons of little kids trying to enjoy all of the cars, and they have to see that? I'm not a child, and I was traumatized. I don't want to see that. Go protest in front of an abortion clinic, not in front of the Pearle Vision on Woodward Ave. I did a Google maps search of the Pearle Vision there, and there's actually a photo of a protester there from a previous year.

I'm just really disappointed to have seen this. It was unexpected and very unnecessary. I'll know to avoid that area next year.

New at Jasmine's Merch: Rusted Horseshoes

Dan and I went over to a historical site earlier today that's not too far from where we live so I could take some photos. I just finished designing products with one of my favorite photos from the day.
